Snow Foam Guide

Snow Foam to some is something which looks "Cool" but it serves an important purpose. It makes the wash process much safer by removing most of the dirt and grime from the surface in a touchless way. It's important to note Snow Foaming does not replace washing your vehicle.

Snow Foam or Pre-Wash as it is also referred to as is made up of two elements, the actual Snow Foam and a Snow Foam Lance, which is a gun that attaches to your pressure washer to produce the snow foam. Pour 100ml of our Snow Foam into the Snow Foam Lance and then top up with water. If you use another brands snow foam refer to their directions in terms of dilution rates.

We like to pre rinse the vehicle before applying snow foam as to remove any loose dirt and grime. By doing this it allows the snow foam to get to work on the more stubborn dirt and grime. Once this is done proceed to apply the snow foam to the vehicle, covering all areas is safe.

It's important to let any snow foam dwell on the surface of the paintwork for several minutes. During the dwell time the snow foam solution penetrates the dirt and grime on the surface and encapsulates it within the foam. After you have left it to dwell for 5-10 minutes, it's time to rinse it off.

After rinsing you will have successfully removed a large amount of dirt from the vehicles paintwork meaning there is less to pick up when you proceed to wash it. The less dirt picked up by a wash mitt the better as it greatly minimises the risk of scratching the paintwork or inflicting swirl marks.
